CMSN: Simon, could you tell us a little about your motorsport background.
Simon: In a motor car? The first time I ever jumped in a car was a hill climb event here at Canberra, in an SDMA (Southern Districts Motorsports Association) event. I think it was just a club day, in Martin (Notaras') Evo and I won that.
(Before that), I grew up down on the south coast on a property, and I had access to earth moving equipment, (so) I used to push up my own (motocross) tracks, and I did a lot of bush riding as well. I learnt to ride in the bush. And then I started competing when I was about thirteen.
